Support

Phone, text, on-farm
or over the web.

Support for the life of the product, no matter the brand. In season you reach Haden directly; behind him is the ChDp technical team and the shared knowledge base from dealers across Western Canada and Deep Sand Technology in the US.

Troubleshooting

Phone or text first. Send a photo of the screen or the code. Most steering, correction and ISOBUS faults are sorted remotely.

On-farm service

If it needs hands on the machine, we come to you across southwest Saskatchewan. Faulty parts get swapped from stock where possible.

Training

Operator training in your cab at install, and refreshers before seeding or harvest for new hired help.

Firmware and licences

FJDynamics and PTx Trimble updates, licence activations and correction subscriptions handled for you.

Hours

Shop hours by appointment. The ChDp support line runs Monday to Friday 8 to 5 year-round and 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, through seeding and harvest.

Network support

ChDp Ventures toll-free 1-877-307-6041. FJDynamics and PTx Trimble factory support escalated through the dealer network when needed.

GNSS status

When the lines wander, check the sky first.

Solar storms and GPS jamming cause dropouts that look like hardware faults. Geomagnetic activity at Kp 5 and above can interfere, Kp 7 and above causes WAAS dropouts and affects RTK, and Kp 9 can make GPS unusable for a while.

ResourceWhat it tells you
ChDp GNSS statusLive aurora forecast, geomagnetic (Kp) level and atmospheric charts from NOAA and Trimble.
GPS jamming & interference monitorReal-time map of GPS interference and jamming.
NOAA planetary K-indexThe raw Kp index behind the forecasts.
Rule of thumb. Red or yellow aurora over North America plus a wandering line usually means wait it out or switch correction source, not replace the receiver. Call us and we'll check it with you.

Our US partner

Two countries, one support bench.

DBS shares install procedures, firmware findings and support documentation with Deep Sand Technology, the FJDynamics autosteer specialist for the United States. A fix found in Oklahoma reaches Mankota the same week, and the other way round.
